Portraits and Events

Duchy Photography specialises in Portraits and Events Photography or ‘social photography’ -  that is, taking photographs of people .

Portraits can be formal or informal, inside or outside, individual, couples or family groups. Lifestyle shoots take place on location, usually using natural light. You choose one of your special places eg. your favourite beach in Cornwall, woodland, moorland, historic building etc., and we meet there to take photos in a fun and relaxed way. In addition we have a pop-up studio which can be used for indoor photos eg. for a family celebration. Alternatively a professional studio can be arranged for formal, fashion or boudoir style shoots.

For actors headshot shoots we encourage clients to be fully involved in the selection process. Chosen images for the agent are supplied as high resolution images.

We also have a wealth of experience covering event photography including  black tie dinners, charity events, award ceremonies, school proms, school plays and even royal visits. The photographs can be printed at the event and/or loaded to a website for viewing and purchasing later.
